Mohamad Khademyani came to Canada over 12 years ago to seek for safety and security for his family and himself. Mohamad was a teacher, a human rights activist and a member of city counselor in his hometown. He was arrested, tortured and was told to be executed in prison. After 95 days he was released from prison and received 8 years jail sentence. He was forced to escape his country and came to Canada as a landed immigrant. Mohamad has been through a lot for the first couple years since his English language skill was very limited and was unemployed. He attended English class daytime and started working at night. His strong value of hard work, resentence paid off and as a social advocator and community leader, successfully built up, strengthened and expanded three businesses in Canada within five years. While he was managing and running his business he has attended Douglas college and SFU.
